The projects I’m involved in all leave room for people to put their personal touch on things. What I express might change depending on the project’s conditions and the song but the freedom of expression is always there. There’s a visceral connection to different dynamic/intensity levels that I enjoy.

I would tell myself to take it much more seriously and take it much less seriously also – if that makes any sense. No one is going to do anything for you better than you will do it for yourself, so take seeing ideas through and getting things done more seriously. But also keep it your mind that this is Rock n Roll we’re talking about here – if you aren’t having a good time, how is anyone else supposed to?

The evolution of Larkin Poe from 2010 to 2018 has been constant, radical, and breathtaking. It has taken us years of seeking to finally uncover the musical path upon which we currently tread. Music is a journey and it means different things to each and everyone one of us at the different stages of our lives. We’re hugely grateful to be where we are right now, making the music we’re making.
